Camp Invitation Extended to Three Mumbai Bowlers For Asia Cup
According to Media that Camp Invitation Extended to Three Mumbai Bowlers, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reached out to three bowlers from Mumbai – fast bowler Tushar Deshpande, off-spinner Tanush Kotian, and left-arm spinner Shams Mulani – requesting them to attend the Asia Cup camp for Team India. The camp is scheduled to commence from Wednesday in Alur.
Deshpande and Kotian were initially in Salem, Tamil Nadu, where the Mumbai senior team is currently participating in the Buchi Babu All-India Invitation Cricket Tournament 2023.
On the other hand, Mulani has returned from his tour with the Mumbai Indians’ developmental squad in England.
The purpose of inviting the trio is for them to join the camp as net bowlers. Additionally, about five bowlers from Karnataka have also received calls to participate in the camp, according to a source familiar with the matter.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai cricket team is currently engaged in a four-day practice match against the Tamil Nadu team.
This match was arranged by the current coach of Tamil Nadu, Sulakshan Kulkarni, who was previously associated with Mumbai as a coach.
